2. How to Submit a Valid Notice

To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  3. Identification of the infringing material and its URL on PdfWatch
  4. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
  5. A statement of good faith belief that use is not authorized
  6. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner

3. Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe your content was removed in error:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the removed material and its former URL
  3. Statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and consent to federal court jurisdiction

Upon receipt of valid counter-notice, we will restore content within 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

PdfWatch terminates access for users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

5. Limitations

Note: PdfWatch uses zero-knowledge encryption. Uploaded files are encrypted client-side before upload. We cannot access, view, or scan file contents. We can revoke access links upon valid notice.
