Is there a free trial for Pro?
PdfWatch's free plan is permanent — you can use core PDF tracking features forever at no cost. The Pro plan is a paid upgrade for professionals and teams who need unlimited documents, extended retention, and advanced analytics. There is no time-limited trial, because we believe you should be able to evaluate the product properly on the free plan before committing.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time directly from your account dashboard. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period — we do not charge cancellation fees.
Do you store my payment details?
No. All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, a certified Merchant of Record that handles global tax compliance and payment processing. PdfWatch never sees or stores your credit card details.
What happens to my documents if I downgrade from Pro to Free?
Your existing documents remain accessible. If you have more than 3 active documents when you downgrade, you will need to delete the excess before you can upload new ones. We will never delete your documents without your action.
Is PdfWatch GDPR compliant?
Yes. We hash all viewer IP addresses before storing them, we never store document decryption keys (they exist only in your share link), and you can permanently delete all your data at any time from the Settings page. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
